Newport Point Project
A full-scale historic renovation, architectural restoration, and furnishings project. Originally built in 1834, this harbor-front colonial. The design details were restored, from the wide-plank floors to the traditional sash windows, while new layers of craftsmanship brought warmth and polish to every surface.
Newport Point Project
THE STORY
A young Newport family puts down roots in the city’s beloved Historic Point District with the renovation of an early 1900s home just steps from the harbor. Set within one of Newport’s most coveted in-town neighborhoods, the residence offered generous square footage and an unusually spacious outdoor area—an uncommon luxury in the heart of downtown. Guided by a deep respect for the neighborhood’s architectural legacy, the design honors the history of the home while shaping it for modern family life. Rooted in a classic New England sensibility and layered with art, antiques, and vintage pieces, the interiors feel warm, timeless, and deeply personal.
A full-scale design, renovation, and furnishings project encompassing a reimagined first floor, an expanded primary suite, and the complete furnishing of the 3,000-square-foot home.
